HTC who is the maker of phones like the T-Mobile Dash and the number one Windows Mobile cell phone maker in the work is taking on the iPhone.

While the iPhone is geared toward the consumer market and focuses more on entertainment, it lacks features such as Calendar, Email, and Task sync with an enterprise mail systems like Microsoft Exchange Server. Many business people could not give up their Windows Mobile phone or Blackberry device due to the lack of email and calendar sync features in the iPhone.

HTC has created a new touch screen phone which will function similar to the iPhone and have a similar feel to the user interface. It will focus on more on the business user. The new device runs Windows Mobile 6 technology which has just recently become available through the mobile phone carriers.
